Westtown struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Post 491 yesterday at Rustin High School. Post 491 pushed across 26 runs in four innings of play that were highlighted by a 19 run second inning.
Kennett racked up 17 hits on the day. Nate Holt had a huge day. He had a monster HR along with two other hits, and 6 RBIs. Brennan Smith also had a 3 hit performance. Jeremy Sauerbaum scored 4 runs.
Starter Tim Kratz went 2 IP, allowing 3 H and 1 ER. Reliever Nate DeAngleo closed out the game’s final 2 innings, allowing 0 H and 0 R.
Tonight’s game against Concord has been postponed due to rain. The team will be back in action on Thursday at NVF.
