Post 491 Keeps On Rolling

Kennett’s bats stayed red hot tonight as they pushed across 18 runs in a convincing win against Paoli. This secured the three game season sweep for the season over Paoli and pushed Post 491’s record to 7-2.

Joey Ajalli had a huge night for Kennett. He went 2 for 2 with two doubles, 2 RBI and 1 R. Jeremy Sauerbaum and Connor Brookes also each had two hits. Sauerbaum also scored 3 runs. Run production came from Nate Holt and Vinnie Basciani who each had 3 RBIs. Kennett outhit Paoli 10 to 2.

Kennett pitching remained solid. Coming off of a shaky outing, Alex Wisniewski bounced back brilliantly. The starter went 3 innings allowing only 2 H and 3 ER, along with 3 SO. Reliever Tim Kratz continued to pound the zone, throwing one scoreless inning and giving up 0 hits.

The team has a much needed break before they return to action on Saturday in a double header against Exton Blue.
